The key to reliable temper measurement is stringent control of environmental conditions. The 530 regulates cooling temperature with a stability of ±0.06°C (±0.1°F), maintains a fixed probe temperature, and ensures consistent sample size with disposable cups stored in a front-panel dispenser.

The intuitive color graphic display guides users through the testing process. Operators enter a product ID, insert a filled sample cup, and receive CTU values, slope measurements, and statistical data in just five minutes. Results can be printed or stored for up to 165 test runs.
