AUTOMATIC CAPSULE SEALING & BANDING MACHINE

The Dott. Bonapace BD-3000 is an automatic, benchtop capsule sealing machine designed to band and seal hard gelatin and HPMC capsules after filling.

The BD-3000 combines capsule orientation, sealing, drying and ejection into one automated process, with all operations controlled through an integrated PLC system. It is designed for use with a wide range of capsule sizes and is particularly well suited for applications involving liquid, oily, high-viscosity and wax-type products that require capsule sealing.

HOW IT WORKS

The filled capsules enter the machine through the hopper and are automatically oriented before being transferred to the sealing station.

A heated tank and rotating roller apply the sealing solution around the capsule junction. The capsule rotates through the sealing process to provide consistent application around the circumference.

Following sealing, the capsules are transferred to a separate drying section where they remain for more than four minutes, with ambient-temperature air circulation assisting the drying process. Finished capsules are then automatically ejected.

Manufacturer specifications confirm a 3,000-capsule/hour output, 850 × 610 × 510 mm dimensions and 70 kg net weight.
